PRICING AND ORDER INFO
Minimum Order Charge is $45.00
Don't be taken in by those who offer their services for
less--you get what you pay for. The type of material, condition
and detail of the parts are considered when quoting your parts. THERE
IS NO WAY WE CAN GIVE YOU AN EXACT QUOTE OVER THE TELEPHONE OR
ON OUR WEBSITE. Upon receipt of your order, all parts are
itemized and photographed. We will contact you with a price
before starting on the job to get your approval. You will be
sent a written itemized list giving you the exact cost to plate
your parts. No work will begin until your approval has been
received. Occasionally when we strip and clean a part, we find
cracks, dents and deterioration that you or us may not have
noticed. We will notify you immediately. Additional repair
charges may apply.
BLACK CHROME - Runs 50% more than bright chrome.
24K GOLD - At present gold plating will be charged at
100% over the chrome price. However this is subject to change
due to market fluctuations. We recommend gold plating for show
cars or low mileage street cars.
POWDER COATING - Price depends upon type and condition of
material, color choice, finish and preparation. Color charts are
available for $10.00 to $50.00 which is refundable after return
of chart in good condition.
WASTE TREATMENT - We charge a 1% waste treatment
surcharge on the total cost of the job, due to the
uncontrollable rising cost for treatment, disposal and
consultation fees to meet EPA standards. We have a full in-house
waste treatment facility and comply with all federal and state
regulations to ensure a safe environment.
COMPLETION
TIME
In-shop time varies
upon size and type of job. All jobs are completed in the order
they are received. Restoration of pot metal and jobs requiring
repair work and a show quality finish take a great deal of work
and time to complete. PLAN AHEAD, don't wait until the
last minute to do your chrome work. Rushing us to complete your
order will result in a lower quality than could be given with
the proper amount of time needed to complete your order. You
will be given an ESTIMATED TIME to complete your order. (we
strive to do a quality job rather than meet a deadline!
We cannot guarantee completion dates.)
If you wish to check on the progress of your job, you MUST have
included your phone number with your original order or know your
job number. We cannot track your job by your name alone.
PREPARATION
All items MUST BE
TAKEN APART 100%. We are platers, not mechanics.
Clean grease and oil off the parts. If you are not an
experienced buffer, please DO NOT grind or sandblast your
parts, this could damage your parts and decrease the quality.
This will save you money. Occasionally, when we strip and clean
a part, we find cracks, dents and deterioration that you or us
may not have noticed. We will notify you immediately.
